Pink Bible - Easy Study

Privacy Policy

Updated October 16, 2026

Your reading stays private

You can begin using Pink Bible without entering an email or creating a password. If you choose Sign in with Apple, Google, or email sign-in, our account service receives the account identifier and any name or email you share to authenticate you and recover your membership. When cloud services are available, the app creates a private anonymous account automatically. We do not include advertising or third-party marketing analytics, and we do not sell your personal information. Your Bible notes, highlights, bookmarks, and prayer journal remain on your iPhone.

Your personal plan

Your optional name, onboarding answers, prayer intention, reminder preferences, and completed devotional dates are saved on your iPhone and, only when you enable “Sync my personal plan” in Account, in your private cloud account to personalize your experience. Some answers may describe your religious beliefs or personal circumstances. Name and intention fields are optional. Avoid entering information you do not want stored. We use Supabase for account and database services. If cloud services are unavailable, the app retains your progress locally and retries syncing later.

Membership and payments

Stripe processes online membership checkout and any contact or payment information you enter there. Pink Bible does not receive your full card number. Our server records the anonymous account identifier, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, membership status, and access-expiry dates. Payment access is confirmed by Stripe, not by a checkout return link. Membership offers display their price and renewal period before checkout. There is no free trial on the current annual or weekly offer.

Paywalls and subscription analytics

We use Superwall to display membership offers and understand how they perform. It receives a pseudonymous app account identifier, device and app information, subscription status, and events such as paywall views and interactions. Superwall may infer an approximate country, region, or city from the IP address; we do not request precise location permission. These records support offer delivery, subscription access, and product analytics. We do not use them to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising. See Superwall's privacy policy.

Scripture access

The included public-domain English Bible editions are available offline. If optional licensed online translations are enabled, the app sends only the requested translation, book, chapter, or search query to our secure scripture gateway so it can return the requested passage. Your private onboarding answers and reading annotations are not attached to scripture requests. Infrastructure providers may process standard technical information, such as an IP address and request logs, to deliver and protect the service.

Community, prayers, and blessings

A private prayer or group draft stays on your device until you choose to publish it. Published prayer requests and responses are visible in the shared prayer community. Messages, app artwork, polls, reactions, and your chosen display name are shared with approved members of the group you select. Invitation requests disclose your display name to the recipient. Direct partner blessings are accessible to the two people in an accepted connection. Group administrators can approve membership requests. Content reports are stored for review by the service operator. These features require a connected account service.

Online Scripture study

Only after you approve the OpenAI sharing prompt for that conversation, your most recent 20 conversation messages, any image attached to your latest question, selected Bible edition, and answer preferences are sent through our server to the configured OpenAI API. Your conversation is also kept on your device. Private reader notes and onboarding answers are not automatically included. Our requests disable stored response objects. Provider processing and abuse-monitoring retention are governed by OpenAI's API data controls; disabling stored responses does not remove all provider retention. Do not include information you do not want processed by that service.

Media and scanning

Scripture narration uses installed system voices. Scanning recognizes text on your device. A selected photo stays local unless you attach it to a Scripture chat question and approve sending it through our server to OpenAI, or choose an iOS sharing destination. Attaching a new chat image prompts for permission again before it is sent. Online community blessings currently accept app artwork only; personal-image uploads are disabled while image review is being connected. Photo-library saving and camera capture require the permissions shown by iOS.

Apple purchases

If an Apple subscription is offered, Apple processes the purchase. Sign in to your Pink Bible account before purchasing so membership can be recovered. The app supplies a verified signed transaction to our private server verifier. Our server records your account identifier, App Store transaction and original subscription identifiers, product, subscription environment, purchase and expiry dates, trial and refund status, and a hash of the signed transaction. Apple and Stripe memberships are stored separately. Your payment card details are not provided to us. Manage Apple subscriptions in your Apple account settings. The purchase sheet shows the applicable price and renewal terms.

Links and sharing

The app may open attribution or publisher websites that have their own privacy policies. When you choose to copy or share a verse, iOS handles the destination you select.

Optional referrals

Referral links count daily page requests and App Store button requests for each referral code. These totals may include link previews or repeat visits; they do not identify unique visitors. Pink Bible does not store IP addresses or browser identifiers in these referral counters. If you choose to enter a referral code before subscribing, our server connects your private account identifier to that referral and records qualifying verified subscription transactions, dates, products, and refund status. The server does not share your reading notes, prayers, or onboarding answers with the person who referred you. These records support referral attribution; commission terms and payouts are not currently active. Account deletion removes your referral claim and disconnects your account identifier from retained conversion records.

Reminders and widgets

Reminders are scheduled on your device only after you grant notification permission. You can change permission in iOS Settings. Widgets display bundled Scripture and do not send your private prayer intention to your Home Screen.

Access and deletion

Use the in-app profile to see your account status. Contact support to request assistance with access or deletion. Deleting the app removes its local files; it does not cancel a Stripe subscription. Cancel a Stripe membership through its billing portal or billing email. Manage an Apple subscription in your Apple account subscription settings. Anonymous accounts are tied to the credentials stored securely on your device; automatic access recovery on a different device is not guaranteed.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Account controls

In Account you can sign out, manage blocked members, or request deletion of your online account. Account deletion removes the synced profile and associated shared content, including groups you own. Local Bible annotations and private journal entries remain on your iPhone. Linked Stripe subscriptions are cancelled before deletion completes. Stripe retains transaction records under its own requirements. Apple subscriptions must be managed with Apple. A checkout still being created or a payment-provider failure can delay completion; the app displays the status instead of claiming the account was deleted. If you used Sign in with Apple, your app account data is deleted and the app directs you to remove Pink Bible from Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings. Apple authorization is a separate step because this native sign-in integration does not retain Apple revocation tokens.
